Technology Transfer
This project was a part of the DTS course. For this project, we needed to identify a type of technology that had been developed by NASA and was now used in people’s daily lives. Also, we needed to state the benefits of the current application of the technology. Overall, this project took us one and a help classes to complete, but I chose to work on it outside of school so I would be able to complete it. This was an individual project and we had to choose a piece of technology from the NASA website and use the article attached to complete our project. The targeted skill of this project was identifying the impact of technology on our daily lives. I used this to create the benefits paragraph of my project. Another skill used in this project was meeting deadlines. I wasn’t sure I would be able to meet the deadline by just working in class, so I worked on this project outside of school. I learned more about technologies in our life and where this technology came from. I learned that a lot of technology we use today comes from NASA. A difficulty I faced was getting enough information from the article. I overcame this by reading the article carefully and completing extra research.
